Launch of the Global Life Long Learning Communities project (GL3C).
The aim is offer GL3C at no charge for individuals and at the lowest price for organizations and institutions, and “Become number one in Life Long Learning Communities environment for every possible group and individual, connecting people to learn, exchange and support”
We are working together with the Rotterdam School of Management / Erasmus at The Netherlands. We have started research phase 2 and you may join us (please contact) We are combining a very rich and flexible Learning Management System, a digital workplace, virtual class/ -meeting, whiteboard, Blogs and Wiki, authoring, ranked content.We investigate Individual performance, Team performance and Information quality in all kinds of virtual communities. Main questions are: 1- Which attributes improve acceptance and usage of collaborative tools within virtual teams? 2- How does the use of online collaborative tools influence interpersonal trust, quality of shared information and knowledge dissemination among employees?
Benefits for organizations / institutions who are being part of the project are answers on questions like: How to build trust in a group? What is needed to keep the group together over a period? What is the quality of the information they make, upload, share and enrich? Is there really a sharing process? And does it really safe time? How to get an innovative process in generating better content? What technology (functionality) is the group (and individuals) using for what type of learning / working processes and communication? Is a moderator needed? What would be the roll of a moderator?
